New wave of persecutions in India
In India, Christians represent 2.3% of the total population, which amounts to 30 million people out of 1.3 billion inhabitants. These Christians are now living in suffering as persecutions against them continue. In just two months, Christians in India have endured over 160 attacks, according to the United Christian Forum (UCF), an ecumenical organization based in New Delhi. Christians in India live their faith amidst intimidation, humiliation, and daily violence. - Read more

Persecutions in Europ

Modern Western society supposedly champions classical liberalism – and yet viewpoint discrimination is evident all around us now more than ever.
Individuals are being penalised, marginalised, or even dismissed in the workplace solely based on personal views that conflict with the reigning ‘woke’ hegemony of today.
When these views, often deeply-held convictions with no impact on the individual’s professional competence, are publicly expressed or somehow discovered, the person swiftly is pushed aside – resulting in a serious violation of basic human rights. - Read more

Facebook Silences Christians When Facebook deletes the post: "Jesus died so you could live" and labels it, even after appeal: "hate speech". Facebook uses its own interpretation of morality to silence Christians. Journalist Billy Hallowell posted on Facebook: "Jesus died so you could live" and was accused of "hate speech" by Facebook. Facebook's response was not only to remove the message but also to explain the censorship as a response to hate speech: ''Your message goes against our community standards on hate speech''. But what is "hateful" about this message which on the contrary clearly speaks of altruism and sacrifice for the good of others? Hallowell shared this censorship on Twitter, supported by screenshots, and a comment indicating that the incident was, in his opinion, "very, very bizarre".

Insects in Food: FOOD - Whether they like it or not, the majority of French people are concerned. Directly on their plate, indirectly through farm animals, they will eat insects. For two years now, market authorizations given by the European Commission have been piling up. Among the biggest players in the sector, the French firm has just announced one of the biggest fundraisings of the year, 160 million euros. [Link to the article about insects in food]

MK-Ultra and the Global Government.

The MK-Ultra project of the CIA Theories about the ability to "remote control" individuals to the point of making them make irrational decisions, against their own interests, and even sometimes perpetrate crimes, abound. Often perceived as conspiratorial by the general public, they are nevertheless based on perfectly circumstantial historical facts. The aforementioned MK-Ultra project was conducted by the CIA starting in 1953, for a duration of twenty years, before being interrupted and revealed in the press a few years later, thanks to a series of articles by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh. The descriptions of the device set up nearly forty years before the assassination of John Lennon are chilling. The experiments are clandestine, funded at a high cost (several tens of millions of dollars). Among the collaborators, former Nazis are mobilized to practice multiple tortures: electroshocks, induced comas, exposure to repetitive images and messages, sleep deprivation, injection of hallucinogenic drugs (notably LSD, delivered by truckloads). Cobayes are variously chosen, with their common denominator being their great vulnerability or marginality. They are hospitalized patients, prisoners, clients of prostitutes recruited by the latter. There are also homeless children. Following the treatment inflicted on them, some individuals do indeed start to kill or commit suicide. [Link to the article about MK-Ultra and John Lennon]

Was John Lennon assassinated by the CIA? According to a British documentary in preparation, John Lennon was assassinated by the CIA Why would the American intelligence agency want to get rid of the author of the timeless "Imagine", whom it constantly monitored? The answer is in the question: his ability to influence young crowds with an anti-militarist message disturbs the highest echelons of power. Launching a potential conflict when a singer with global success wants to "give peace a chance" and when millions, billions of people hear it, is difficult.

Today as yesterday, war-makers do not like contradiction. [Link to the article about John Lennon]

The World Economic Forum (WEF) at the helm of the World Government? INVESTIGATION - Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), says he is "very proud" of it. According to him, they "infiltrate" governments around the world, choose the leaders of tomorrow, and your president or prime minister has probably been a part of it. Who could they be? They are the "Young Global Leaders" (YGL), a WEF program to select the future "masters of the world" who will "shape politics, society, and the world around them," to quote him. Who are these people? How are they selected? Who has been a part of it and who are the current figures? [Link to the article about the WEF]

The US Justice Department Spying on Christians Following a letter from the attorneys general of 20 states to federal Justice Minister Merrick asking the government to release all documents concerning the surveillance of Roman Catholic institutions in the US, the House Judiciary Committee summoned FBI Director Christopher Wray and its chairman. Republican Jim Jordan said the FBI had infiltrated at least one agent among traditionalist Catholics to obtain information. Jordan added that the agency proposed to recruit informants within the clergy. At his hearing, Wray said, "This does not reflect FBI standards. We do not conduct investigations based on membership or religious practices, period." Summoned before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Justice Minister claimed that his services were not recruiting sources in churches, but Republican Senator Josh Hawley sent a letter to the minister on April 11 accusing him of lying before and demanding to know how many informants were infiltrated or other agents in religious communities. Hawley recalled in his letter that the minister had claimed not to have any anti-Catholic bias, that there was no religious surveillance, and that the FBI did not have informants in churches across the country. The senator emphasized that the investigation by the House Judiciary Committee had shown that "all of this was false."

FBI Accused of Infiltrating Roman Catholics A Catholic defense association and a legal watchdog organization filed a complaint in late April against the US Department of Justice after the FBI put Catholics on a watchlist. This complaint comes as the Biden administration is accused of infringing on the religious freedom of Christians. Last February 8, a suspended FBI agent revealed that the FBI's Richmond, Virginia field office had put Catholics on a watchlist. The agency had launched an investigation on January 23 into "radical traditionalist Catholics" whom it presented as an extremist threat. [Link to the article about FBI and Catholics]

Justice or Unjustice ? It is well known that justice - or rather unjustice, because it is well known that there is no justice - only for the rich. While lawyers fatten literally, in many countries including France, it is absolutely impossible for a poor to seek justice. The slightest lawyer as incompetent as he is, ask often in France for € 2500 to treat the smallest deal. To this must be added of course, costs for ‘baliff, plus often extremely expensive costs for expertise, and other miscellaneous expenses.
A person who uses legal aid will most time botched his case, unless it strangle financially himself to settle additional sums that his lawyer will not fail to claim it.
Even if the poor were to win his trial, it is almost assured that the rich loser will appeal the decision or a minimum of 2500 additional pay €, which must be added attorneys fees, new fees bailiff , travel expenses of the lawyer to the closest court of appeal, or replacement by a lawyer resident in the place of this court.
The case will certainly end in Cassation: 3000 € plus additional bailiff.
Have you gained Cassation? This is certainly not finished! It is now necessary to represent your case to another court of appeal other than the first.
Never forget the other hand it will take a good ten years before the case is closed.
And after all that, you poor that you are, you have great 'opportunity' to have lost your request yet honourable. You were right, but you were poor and it does not forgive!
Rich, lawyers and judges who devour the poor, fear, because the Lord's Day is approaching, day where you'll have to be accountable. Day of anger and vengeance from our God (Amos 4,12; 5,12; 6,4-7).

The Kumbh Mela, the largest Hindu religious festival has started :

The Kumbh Mela, the largest Hindu religious and depraved festival started on Monday 14 January at Allahabad in India
This festival has its roots in Hindu mythology, according to which a few drops of semen of immortality would have fallen in four Indian cities including that of Allahabad.
AFP notes that "The wisemen, hair twisted into dreadlocks, the self-proclaimed prophets and men of little flocked across the country."
Some 12,000 cops were mobilized in an attempt to avoid the inevitable deadly jostling.
The feast will be held for 55 days and is expected to attract nearly 100 million pilgrims gathered by naked and dirty priests covered with ash.
Followers ought to immerse themselves in the disgusting waters of the Ganges whose clear waters gushing from the Himalayan summers, has quickly turned into open sewers.
It is also in Allahabadhas that the river Yamuna, extremely and dangerously polluted, flows into Ganges carting all sorts of rubbish and whose the most terrible diseases is not poliomelyt.

The prophets proclaimed Christmas, the birth of a Savior: Isaiah 7:14: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 9:6: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Micah 5:2: “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The Gospels of Matthew and Luke tell of the birth of Jesus the Savior. The Bible does not say that Jesus was born in the year zero of our era, but rather a number of months before the death of Herod (Matthew 2:15), who according to Josephus died 750 years after the founding of Rome, or in 4 BCE.
We know that at Bethlehem, at the tower called Migdal Eder, herds of sheep grazed which were destined for temple sacrifices, whose shepherds witnessed the birth of Jesus.
We know that David's line was rooted in Bethlehem (1 Samuel 16:4-13), which is why his descendants Joseph and Mary went there to be enrolled in the census.
We know that the Magi from the East were Babylonian, Persian or Arabic scholars who were studying both the stars and the sacred writings.
We know from Suetonius that all the East was expecting a Savior from Judea: "From time immemorial a tradition prevailed throughout the East: the Fates predicted that those who came from Judea would be the masters the world."(Suetonius Lives of the Caesars, Vespasian, 4, § 9).
It is known from the astronomer Johannes Kepler that a very rare combination (occurring every 800 years) between Jupiter and Saturn was visible in the East in 7 BC (just before the birth of Jesus), which perhaps prompted the Magi to go to Judea.
We know that Herod was a cruel and paranoid king who killed several members of his family to hold on to power. It is not surprising, therefore, that he murdered the male infants in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:13-23) to eliminate "the king who has been born." Regarding this, Macrobius, the Roman philosopher of the 4th century AD, quoted Augustus Caesar: “When he [Augustus] heard that Herod, King of the Jews, had ordered the death of all the boys in Syria two years old and under and that the son of the king was numbered among the dead, he said: ‘Better to be a pig (hus) of Herod, than a son (huios) of Herod!’” (Macrobius, Saturnalia, Book II, chap. 4).
The monument of the Res Gestae at Ankara, Turkey portrays the actions of Augustus Caesar. From it we know that the Emperor Augustus ordered a census of the world (the Empire and its provinces) in the Roman year 746 (or 8 BC), a little before the birth of Jesus. A census of the Roman Empire could last several years.
We know from the Roman historian Tacitus that Quirinius and Varus were the military legates of Syria (a Roman region that included Judea) at the time of Jesus’ birth (Tacitus, Annals 3:48; Florus, Roman History 2:31).
We know that the world has not been the same since the birth of Jesus, and especially since his resurrection.

A young student share is Faith: Franck, a young English student, prayed The Lord, while at the university restaurant for getting courage to share the Goddnew with some mates. Instead to be seated alone, he decided to seat just in front of a young Chinese student and start to pray before eating. Immediately, the young Chinese asked him: "What are you doing? Are you praying?" So, Franck, started to share his faith in Jesus, and later offered to him a Bible in his own tongue. The Chinese student is now converted and a good Christian spreading the Goodnews of Jesus-Christ.

Christian persecutions in Erythree: We just learned that two members of the International University Bible Group have been jail in Erythree for proclaiming Jesus to students in one university.

Christmas is coming soon :  In this period of Holy Christmas, we want to celebrate with you the coming of Jesus Christ, son and Face of God.  - Mat 2, 1-12.
Many people eat, drink and rejoice at this time, but Jesus is not present either at their festival or in their heart. How sad it is for this people and for the world! – I Cor 15, 32.
For us, we want to honor Christ by remembering what He did for us, leaving his heavenly realm, where He was so greatly honored by the angels to come on the dirty place of earth for saving us and provide the hope to become child of God, like it is written: “And he brought me up out of a tumultuous pit of misery, and from miry mud, and he set my feet on a rock.- Ps 40,2; Isa 65,2; I Pet 2,3.
Not only He leave His glorious throne, but he came has a chid to save children, as a teenager to save teenagers, as an adult to save adults, as very poor and homeless to save and glorify homeless and poor of the earth, suffering as criminal to save criminals and to show us the way. – Is 53,3-5 ; Lc 2,1-20.
Like the shepherds in the field in the time of the Jesus’ birth, do we ear the voice of  this “multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”” ? – Lk 2,13-14.
The story continue saying: “And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.” – Lk 2,17-18.
So, Christian shepherds, if you have understand the mystery of this sacred night, go and proclaim what Jesus has made for ‘good will men’. Proclaim, also that He will come again very soon, not as a baby, but as a great conqueror with the purpose to “give reward to the servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear His name, small and great; and to destroy them which destroy the earth. – Rv 11,18.

Love in Islam :  The guide entitled "Islamic Gender", recommends to wives' submission in the bed in order to satisfy their husbands."

Rather than neglect your brothers than not pray ? A brother wrote: "rather than neglect your brothers than not pray".
But we have to be balanced about this: Jesus did not say to Peter : "If you love me pray for my lambs", but rather " is you love me feed my lambs" Jn 21,15. He said also : "Go therefore and make disciples.." Mt 28,19. If there a fire in your neighborhood, you will pray, but take in the same time action to stop the fire. The book of Acts in the New testament is not call book of prayer, but book of ACTS. Friendly in Christ

Report: Priests Dying of AIDS
posted Jul 11, 2011, 4:42 PM by Christian Early   [ updated Jul 11, 2011, 4:43 PM ]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- AIDS has quietly caused the deaths of hundreds of Roman Catholic priests in the United States although other causes may be listed on some of their death certificates, The Kansas City Star reported in its Sunday editions.

In the first of a three-part series, the newspaper reported that its examination of death certificates and interviews with experts indicated several hundred priests had died of AIDS-related illnesses since the mid-1980s and hundreds more are living with HIV, the virus that causes the disease. The death rate of priests from AIDS is at least four times that of the general population, the newspaper said.

Church leaders in the United States and at the Vatican declined requests to discuss the findings, the Star said, and the Vatican referred questions to local bishops.

Bishop Raymond J. Boland of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, said the AIDS deaths show that priests are human. "Much as we would regret it, it shows that human nature is human nature,'' Boland said.

The Star sent confidential questionnaires to 3,000 of the 46,000 priests in the United States last fall, asking about AIDS and other issues, and received responses from 801 priests, a 27 percent return rate.

Six of 10 priests responding said they knew of at least one priest who had died of an AIDS-related illness and one-third knew a priest living with AIDS. Three-fourths said the church needed to provide more education to seminarians on sexual issues.

Asked about their sexual orientation, 75 percent said they were heterosexual, 15 percent said they were homosexual and 5 percent said they were bisexual.

The Star said exact numbers of priests who have died of AIDS or become infected with HIV is unknown, partly because many suffer in solitude. When priests tell their superiors, the cases generally are handled quietly.

The newspaper cited the case of Bishop Emerson J. Moore, who left the Archdiocese of New York in 1995 and went to Minnesota, where he died in a hospice of an AIDS-related illness. His death certificate attributed the death to "unknown natural causes'' and listed his occupation as "laborer'' in the manufacturing industry.

After an AIDS activist filed a complaint, officials changed the cause of death to "HIV-related illness,'' the newspaper reported, but the occupation was not corrected.

Farley Cleghorn, an epidemiologist with the Institute of Human Virology in Baltimore, said he has treated about 20 priests and religious-order brothers with AIDS, all of whom had kept it a secret.

"The church and religious orders need to acknowledge that there is a problem -- that priests have sex and they are susceptible to all sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS,'' he said.

Tribals enact ‘death’ of youth to ward off evil

PRABEER SIKDAR DC|WARANGAL
Relatives of Bhukya Mangilal surround his 'body at his home in Amangal of Warangal's Mahbubabad mandal.

June 16: Superstitious tribal residents of Peddathanda in Amangal village of War-angal's Mahbubabad man-dal enacted a death drama on Thursday to ward off evil influences after a village youth was attacked by a crow on two consecutive days. Sources said Mr Bhukya Mangilal, 20, a tribal labourer was attacked, by a crow on Wednesday evening and on Thursday morning.

On both-occasions, the crow attacked his feet as he was coming out of his home. Reading this as an evil sign for Mr Mangilal, tribal elders suggested that the village should enact the death of Mr Mangilal to ward off the evil influence.

Thus the 100 residents of the hamlet including Mr Mangilal's mother and two sisters enacted the drama that lasted for about an hour.

For an outsider, it would have seemed real as it had all the right ingredients: the youth lying covered in a bed sheet with cotton in his ears, incense sticks, wailing women and a kilometre long march with the 'body' carried by four people to the designated funeral pyre.

The act ended the funeral pyre, was lit, minus Mangilal, who came back with the residents to be given a ritual bath at home. The crow, however, wasn't seen during the entire process.

The ravages of debt

Nothing worked! Despite the Act of 1 August 2003, the number of French indebted continues to grow exponentially. According to the Economic and Social Council (CES), the records presented in committee have multiplied - 700 000 households were in 2006 during the procedure, while 3.6 million households felt it difficult to repay their debts. Today, these alarming figures literally explode.

The trivialization of credit used to fill the lack of resources or plug a hole, partly explains this phenomenon. Just then an accident of life (sickness, unemployment, divorce ...) and everything collapses.

Acidic sea water could be turning fish deaf.
posted Jun 6, 2011, 8:41 PM by Christian Early   [ updated Jun 6, 2011, 8:43 PM ]

3 June 2011

Scientists in the UK have published a report suggesting acidic sea water could be turning fish deaf.

This could be very damaging to many fish species as they rely on their hearing for survival.

Reporter:
Janet Barrie
Spectacular tropical clownfish who live around ocean coral reefs rely heavily on their hearing, say scientists. It helps them find a mate, forage for food, and crucially avoid predators lurking in the depths.

Scientists from the University of Bristol in England bred baby clownfish then exposed different groups of them to different levels of carbon dioxide in the water around them: one at today's levels, and the others at the levels the world's oceans are predicted to reach by 2050 and the year 2100.

They tested their hearing by piping in to each tank the sounds of the coral reef. Those in today's conditions swam away from the noise of predators. Those in the mocked-up waters of the future showed no response, suggesting they couldn't hear.

Scientists say the more carbon dioxide we emit, the more oceans absorb and the more acidic the water becomes, and that has potentially devastating consequences for fish.

What they don't know though is whether fish will be able to adapt and tolerate the changing waters.

Janet Barrie, BBC

This remeber us the prophetie of Revelation 16, 3 " And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea."

Buried alive for dating boys
posted May 26, 2011, 7:09 PM by Christian Early   [ updated May 26, 2011, 7:13 PM ]

A new case of crime "committed in the name of honor" plunged Turkey into a deep malaise. A young 16 year old girl was buried alive in the garden of his home, murdered by his own family in eastern Turkey. His body was found in a sitting position, hands bounded in the back at the bottom of a hole dug under the barn, near the city of Adiyaman, in a predominantly Kurdish region.
The autopsy revealed the presence of land in the lungs of the victim, stating that she had been buried alive. Arrested the father and the grandfather of the young Medine liable to life imprisonment. They are suspected of simple cussed the girl because she was dating boys.
This incident recalls the grim persistence of honor killings in the mountainous regions of eastern Turkey, mainly Kurdish, but also in big cities like Istanbul. For violating the tribal code of honor, or refusing an arranged marriage, young girls are routinely killed or driven to suicide by their families.

In December 2009, Diyarba-kir, binoculars 24 years have jumped from the balcony of an apartment. One of the two sisters were being married against her will to a cousin jealous and the family had canceled the marriage. In a village in the region, a 12 year old would be "suicide" to the Kalashnikov.
The teacher had found sweet words in his bag and had informed his parents ...
The persistence of such acts concern Turkey. A parliamentary commission of inquiry had estimated in 2006 to 1091 the number of honor killings set between 2001 and 2006 in the country. But the real figure is very difficult to know, many cases are disguised as suicides. In rural and eastern provinces, it is "somewhat reduced," said Yahya Kamçi, a schoolteacher who organized Diyarbakir ises mediation to try to prevent honor killings and acts of vendetta.
It must be said that justice proves to be less lenient than in the past against the perpetrators of such crimes, which could be jailed for life since the reform of the penal code of 2006. "For years, the law has provided golden opportunities for criminals," said Ayse Onal journalist, author of a book on the subject.
The act against honor, sometimes considered by some judges as a mitigating circumstance. In January, a father who killed his daughter has had his sentence reduced on appeal to twenty years imprisonment. The state often appears unable to protect the victims: the young Medina, who had stopped attending school, had alerted the police on three occasions, noting that his grandfather beat her. ■

Arsenic, lead, mercury, dioxin, DDT ... These substances, all toxic to the body, and some were banned for several years in France, are now present in blood tests of the French. From this observation, Isabelle Saporta decided to in-vestigate the contents of our plates. The reporter was surrounded by a team comprising an epidemiologist, a neuropsychiatrist, a toxicologist, a nutritionist and a researcher at Inserm (National Institute of Health and Medical Research ) who, like the series experts, analyzed the symptoms of our "contamination" food and put their diagnosis. A double investigation, and scientific field, with an investigation into the food chain most consumed in France (apples, pork, salmon, tomatoes, bread and croissant). Eat can affect your health? The study highlights the danger of these products (pesticides, additives, synthetic vitamins Chinese, dyes, antibiotics, PCBs ...)

France : Millions of unemployed people

Unemployment is now over four million people in France, a record figure. Taking into account the overseas departments, we arrive at 4 500,000, if we add the flow of state-subsidized jobs (800 000 last year), it is the explosion. Strangely, the presidential candidates suggest that less than about tax justice. As if France was in shock.

WHY ARE 350M INDIANS HUNGRY ?
posted May 11, 2011, 5:01 PM by Christian Early   [ updated May 11, 2011, 5:02 PM ]

India is the second fastest growing economy in the world. If you heard this somewhere in sub-Saharan Africa, you would think everyone in India must be well-fed, what with the country's foodgrain surplus. But, by the government's own admission, some 350 million Indians go hungry every day. Worse, in a country where every middl class parent teaches her child not to waste even a morsel of food on the plate, the government lets millions of tonnes of foodgrains rot. The PM says policy on what  to do  with all that foodgrain is his realm, not the Supreme Court's. But the nation wonders: Has food and agriculture become a blindspot for his government.

Evangelists are investigated

Senator Charles Grassley, the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, is investigating six prominent evangelistic ministries to determine whether they have illegally used donations to finance opulent lifestyles.

Grassley said Tuesday that he sent letters to the six Christian ministries Monday requesting documents to answer a long list of questions about their compensation, housing allowances, checking and savings accounts, cars, airplanes and overseas trips. They have until Dec. 6 to respond.

The inquiry focuses on some of the flashiest preachers now popular on television and the Internet, many of them proponents of the prosperity gospel — that God will reward believers who open their hearts and wallets.
Grassley, of Iowa, said in a telephone interview: "Jesus comes into the city on a simple mule, and you got people today expanding his gospel in corporate jets. Somebody ought to raise questions about is it right or wrong."

More than 150,000 people have signed an online petition against Christian organization they say is anti-gay.
posted Mar 24, 2011, 6:02 AM by Christian Early   [ updated Apr 15, 2011, 1:08 PM ]

(Mashable) -- More than 150,000 people have signed an online petition calling for Apple to remove an app from the iTunes store that was created by a Christian organization they say is anti-gay.

Exodus International, which according to its website has ministries that "provide support for individuals who want to recover from homosexuality," released the app on February 15.

[UPDATE 11 a.m. ET Wednesday: Apple has pulled the app from its online store.]

The app had a 4+ approval rating from the Apple app store, and the organization is quick to point out that this rating is reserved for those apps that "contain no objectionable material."

Gay rights activists obviously disagree.

"No objectionable content? We beg to differ," reads the Change.org petition that was started by non-profit LBGT advocacy organization Truth Wins Out. "Exodus' message is hateful and bigoted. They claim to offer 'freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ' and use scare tactics, misinformation, stereotypes and distortions of LGBT life to recruit clients."

The app is like a portable version of Exodus International's website. It has a calendar of events, news, links to Exodus's social media sites and videos. Those items, like corresponding features of its website, reflect its belief that someone can be counseled away from homosexuality.

In a blog post, the organization writes that it intends to broaden its reach with the app.

Despite the petition calling for the app's removal, which suggests Exodus International is dangerously broadening its reach toward youth, and a storm of negative complaints posted on the app's download page, Apple has not taken the Exodus International App [iTunes link] down.

Apple responded differently to a similar situation last year. According to Pink News, the company shut down an anti-gay app created by a Christian group after a mere 7,000 people signed a change.org petition calling for its removal.

At the time, Apple said in a statement that they had removed the app because it violated its developer guidelines by "being offensive to large groups of people."

"Today's younger investors are likely to bear much more personal responsibility for their retirement savings than their parents or grandparents did. They may not be able to rely on corporate pensions or social entitlement programs, and, they are less likely to stick with a single company or career through their lifetimes. What's more, the recession has made them more risk-averse. Their reluctance to enter investment markets embodies a kind of conservatism that hasn't been seen since the Great Depression."

Papal Prayer intentions for March include Latin America and persecuted Christians

Newspapers over the last few month have all too often had stories about the persecution of Christians.

From Iraq, to Egypt, to many parts of the Middle East it is unfortunately becoming common to read about assaults on the faithful.

Here in the Archdiocese of Toronto, Archbishop Collins have been very encouraging for parishes to sponsor refugee families (he himself has sponsored one). Though this is a concrete way of helping our persecuted brethren, there are those who will not have the opportunity to flee their land — nor do they want to leave. It is in this cases that we can show solidarity with our persecuted brothers and sisters by praying for them.  And that is Pope Benedict XVI’s missionary intention for this month:

That the Holy Spirit may give light and strength to those in many regions of the world who are persecuted and discriminated against because of the Gospel.

The Holy Father’s general intention is for Latin American nations:

That the nations of Latin America may walk in fidelity to the Gospel and progress in justice and peace.

We have come to worship Jesus
posted Jan 27, 2011, 6:01 AM by Christian Early   [ updated Jan 27, 2011, 6:02 AM ]

"Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him." Matthew 2:2 (NLT)

One reason the wise men were wise is because they came to Jesus for the right reason. They were seekers of the truth. And they would go to any length to find Jesus, but they came to worship Jesus.

There are people today who don't love Jesus; they just use Jesus. Politicians use Jesus to get votes. Business leaders use Jesus to get a blessing on their business. Marketers use Jesus to sell a product. People use Jesus for their own selfish reasons.

We often ask, 'What can Jesus do for me,' as if he's a vending machine. We act as if God is a giant genie -- just rub the lamp and whatever your wish is his command. But God is not your genie. He is your God. He's in charge. He has the right to tell you what to do, not vice versa.

So the wise men came for the right reason. They didn't come to get something from Jesus; they came to show gratitude, to show love, to show honor, to show respect.

They gave Jesus the best they had. They didn't give him their leftovers. They didn't give him lip service. They didn't give him a gift card. They thought through what to give him. The three presents that the wise men brought had very important significance --

Gold is the gift you give to Kings. In days of old, tribute was paid by bringing gold to the king. It was the most precious metal of the time and so the wise men are presenting it as a gift to the king.

Frankincense was a kind of incense, used to worship God in the temple. So the wise men are saying this baby, Jesus, is not only king, he is also God. He is worthy of being worshipped.

Myrrh was a spice used to embalm the dead. Now that's an unusual gift for a baby: the spice put on a dead body before wrapping it in linens. So the wise men, by their gifts, acknowledged that Jesus is God Incarnate, he is king, and he is going to die. Jesus is the savior of the world and he has come to die for our sins.

Even before Jesus said his first word, it was known that, 'This is the Savior who will die for the sins of the world.' AMEN

Report: Priests Dying of AIDS
posted May 20, 2010, 2:45 PM by Christian Early   [ updated May 20, 2010, 2:46 PM ]

Islam in France

While France is a secular state with obligation of separation from church and state, and as such it is prohibited to establish a place of worship in a university or any other public place, Islam penetrates increasingly best protected circles.

The scandal erupted when the French have learned that there are many places of worship reserved for the practice of Islam within universities while at the same time, it was impossible for Christians to acquire one.

Some universities have become known as 'real mosques' set in their midst, such as the city of Antony near Paris. The room was originally for 'multipurpose activities' but now rebaptised by Muslims: 'mosque Omar ibn al-Katthab."

Today, France is facing serious problems, trying hardly to close these centres, but the members do squarely refuse and put pressure on authorities, practicing their rituals in corridors lawns and administrative buildings .

According to the french newspaper 'L'Express', Jean Pierre Guyet, deputy Director of the CROUS (National Centre works academic and school) admits "We believed and how well we are not proud."

An ultra-violent aggression of Muslims against Christians in Nigeria

A violent aggression of Muslims against Christians in Nigeria has taken place and is a true genocide.
More than three hundred Christians were murdered in a bloodbath reminiscent of 2005 or more than two hundred Christians had already died. It is estimated around one thousand Christians who have fled to seek refuge in a safer place.
Western journalistic community, faithful to its truncated presentation of the facts, talk of an 'ethnic and religious conflict', which is far from true. The Christians of this country are the subject of incessant attacks orchestrated by Muslims.

pets or pigsWhile millions of people in the poorest countries die from hunger, the West is engaged in a veritable madness.
In USA the market for pets is more than 330 billion euros, while the French spend more than three billion euros each year, and this market is growing exponentially over 50% since the year 2000.
France today would own more than 40 million pets of all kinds, including about 10 millions dogs.
The vanity and pride have no equal than the stupidity of some dog owners: special food and delicate wooden niches, precious bowl from Gucci, luxury coats, leashes Dior, specialised magazines, training, day care, Insurance contracts, psychological stage, massage, medical check-up, dog psychiatry, dentistry, neurosurgery, arthroscopy, endoscopy, microsurgery, heavy surgery, prosthetic hip, scanner, pompous funeral, white marble grave, etc.. .
Excluding charges related: cleaning sidewalks by local government officials, clothing spaces reserved for ‘dogs needs’, zoological diseases, etc. ..

Justice or Unjustice ?
posted Mar 1, 2010, 1:50 PM by Christian Early   [ updated Mar 1, 2010, 1:50 PM ]

And after all that, you poor that you are, you have great ‘opportunity’ to have lost your request yet honourable. You were right, but you were poor and it does not forgive!
Rich, lawyers and judges who devour the poor, fear, because the Lord’s Day is approaching, day where you’ll have to be accountable. Day of anger and vengeance from our God (Amos 4,12; 5,12; 6,4-7).

Woman Sentenced for Professing Christianity - VOM Sources

In 1962, Nagui Ibrahim left his home and family and converted to Islam. His identity card was changed to indicate that he was officially a Muslim. At the time, his daughter, Shadia, was two years old. Three years later, he reconciled with his wife, moved home and reconverted to Christianity. Unable to legally change his identity card back to say he was a Christian, Nagui had someone forge his documents. In 1996, the forger was arrested and confessed that he had forged documents for Nagui. Police detained Nagui and told him that he was still legally a Muslim. Children in Egypt automatically take their father's religion, so Shadia was officially considered a Muslim, also. Since she had given her religion as "Christian" when she married in 1982, the courts began proceedings against her. On November 21, 2007, she was sentenced to three years in prison for "providing false information on official documents." Algeria Persecutions against Christians

Arrested in possession of Bibles and gospels, Habiba Kouider is accused of "practicing a non-Muslim worship without authorization. Our correspondent has followed his trial Tuesday (Translation Figaro Internatioanl) .
The Correctional Court of Tiaret has housed, Tuesday, a surreal trial. The accused, Habiba Kouider, a Christian 37 years, is an educator in a child care center. She accused for possession of religious books, an offence punishable by imprisonment ¬ since the adoption in February 2006, the law that regulated "non-Muslim worship." On 29 March 2008, while she was travelling by bus from Oran, where she is attending Bible school, to Tiaret, his place of residence, she was intercepted by police. In her bag, they discover exhibits conviction Bibles and gospels. They arrested and transfer her to the police station, which puts it in custody. Several officers then relay to a humiliating interrogation of the "miscreant." The next day, she was presented to the prosecutor, who offered her a curious market: "You return to Islam, and I class the folder, if you persist in sin, you will undergo the wrath of justice". Reserved, almost shy, Habiba Kouider scared, but refused to deny her faith.

Three years in prison required

Tuesday, facing the judge who ironically press her with questions, she responds with dignity. "What is your religion?" Asks the judge. "I am a Christian. I was converted in 2004 at the Church of Oran ', "she says with a voice almost inaudible. With a contemptuous smile, the judge continues: "The priests made you drink holy water that leads to Paradise." She does not answer. Noticing the presence of journalists in the courtroom, the judge speaks: "Have you permission to take notes?" Me Khelloudja Khalfoun, who defends the accused, spoke: "The hearing is public, journalists have the right to be there. "¬ When the black robes of Tiaret, refused to take the defense of “the Christian”, the leaders of the Protestant Church turned to the lawyer of the Bar of Tizi-Ouzou, a courageous woman. The judge loses his calm, threatens to "take measures" : confiscating books of journalists!

Under the watchful eye of the press, judges lose their arrogance. Without conviction, the prosecutor said that "Islam is the state religion" and require three years in prison. Me. Khalfoun proclaim: "freedom of conscience is guaranteed by the Constitution" and demand the release of her client. A summary of two antagonist visions who compete in Algerian society. The verdict will be delivered on May 27. The same day, before the same court, six other Christians appear for "distributing leaflets aimed at undermining the faith of Muslims." Since January 2008, trials for "crime of Christianity" have multiplied in western Algeria, especially in Oran, Mascara and Bel-Abbes. As opposition activists to the one dictatorship party, the new converted are forced to live their faith underground. Without laughter, the Algerian Minister of Religious Affairs wants to be reassuring: "The Christian community enjoys all the rights, but we are fighting against sects!"

It is 2011 AD, is it not?

A young student share is Faith

Franck, a young English student, prayed The Lord, while at the university restaurant for getting courage to share the Goddnew with some mates.

Instead to be seated alone, he decided to seat just in front of a young Chinese student and start to pray before eating. Immediately, the young Chinese asked him: "What are you doing? Are you praying?"

So, Franck, started to share his faith in Jesus, and later offered to him a Bible in his own tongue.

The Chinese student is now converted and a good Christian spreading the Goodnews of Jesus-Christ.

Christmas is coming soon
posted Dec 5, 2011, 9:44 AM by Christian Early

Dear pastors, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In this period of Holy Christmas, we want to celebrate with you the coming of Jesus Christ, son and Face of God.

– Rv 11,18.

HAPPY AND JOYFUL XMAS

But, by the government's own admission, some 350 million Indians go hungry every day. Worse, in a country where every middl class parent teaches her child not to waste even a morsel of food on the plate, the government lets millions of tonnes of foodgrains rot.

Western journalistic community, faithful to its truncated presentation of the facts, talk of an 'ethnic and religious conflict', which is far from true. The Christians of this country are the subject of incessant attacks orchestrated by Muslims.

Justice or Unjustice ?
posted Mar 1, 2010, 1:50 PM by Christian Early   [ updated Mar 1, 2010, 1:50 PM ]
